Hope for Haiti continues to partner with sponsors for the children of EMEVI (Evangelical Living Water Ministry) around the St. Marc, Haiti area. Over 1,700 children attend these schools and we help provide support for 5 of the 8 schools included in EMEVI. Donors help provide uniforms, school books and supplies, and, in a few cases, one meal a day. As of 2022 we no longer sponsor specific children but have now changed the focus to the schools. (Those that are currently being sponsored have been "grandfathered in" and will continue until finishing school or if something else changes)

Being sensitive to the needs of the children it became apparent that those that were not being sponsored felt left out. After much prayer and working with Pastor Marcel in Haiti we chose to move forward and change the way we are supporting our friends in Haiti. Now all the children will feel they are important and not being ignored.

Thirty dollars a month goes a long way to make a difference in these childrens' lives. All the children are in need but our focus is on those whose parents do not have the funds to send their children to school. Even the national schools require tuition for attendance. The pages listed above in the drop-down (Children and Locations) or just below, provide a photo and some insight about each child. Not all the children can be shown here but it's a start.
