charrette/La Session

In the foothills just east of St. Marc, Charrette looks down over the valley to the bay of St Marc. Their first building was started by a youth group from Pennsylvania in 1999 and now around 360 children call this school their home. La Session is a "sister church" to Charrette. This is where the "rubber meets the road". Sponsoring a child means so much. It not only provides physical support in supplies but can also have an eternal impact as each of the schools are Christian and Christian values are taught right from the start. So many in Haiti never receive an education, or it's very limited. Even the basics of reading and writing escape many.
